Winter/Spring 2009 Art Programs Schedule        

Art Programs are small groups with emphasis on one-on-one teacher/student interaction.  The programs are weekly-based and revolve around an art medium with the freedom of individual subject matter which will make each project meaningful, a true reflection of the self.   Within the process of art-making, the language of art (shape, line, texture, balance, etc.) will take place.  Throughout the program artists may also discover how to connect art with others happenings around them.  (Why animals have different textures?  Why stop signs are red?)  Actively participating in hands-on minds-on projects helps young minds develop a visual and kinesthetic style of learning, which can guide the student “early on” in discovering the countless connections around them which makes all learning a colorful and creative experience.

Just for 2's Studio  (with parent, for ages 24 - 30 months)
Fine motor skills, coordination & self-esteem will be engaged as little hands and minds explore the world around them through art. 

Wednesdays  9:30 - 10:30 am
Fee: $65      6 week session
Limit:   4 artists per class

Pricing discount:  Paying for Session 1,2 = $125  Paying for Sessions 1-3 = $180

Independent Art Start (for ages 30 - 42 months)
A studio time set up just for independent souls-
artists will have a chance to interact with peers & teacher while gaining freedom
and curiosity with a variety of art materials.

Mondays  11 - 12 pm  or  Thursdays 11 - 12 pm

Fee: $65 for 6 week session/$55 for Mon. Session 1 and 3
Limit:  5 artists per class
Pricing discount:  Paying for Session  1,2 = $125                Paying for Sessions 1-3 = $180

For all ages, makeup classes are only possible if you call in advance for  the absence, and can
make another scheduled class time.  No refunds or credits will be given.
